In manufacturing, CIMA has a combined cement production capacity of over three million tonnes. Its cement plants in Bukit Ketri, Perlis and Bahau, Negeri Sembilan produce clinker, Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC), Type II OPC and masonry cement.
In the quarry and ready-mixed concrete area, Cimaco Quarry Sdn Bhd provides the required limestone for the manufacturing division, while Unipati Concrete Sdn Bhd manufactures the ready-mixed concrete for sale in Peninsular Malaysia.
Pemasaran Simen Negara functions as CIMA’s trading arm by co-ordinating the marketing, selling, distribution and customer-centred services of the cement sales operation.
CIMA is the third largest cement manufacturer in Malaysia, with about 18% of the country's cement market share. CIMA is also a keen player in international markets, especially in Singapore, the most resilient market in Asia. |
