UEM Group Berhad started out as United Engineers (Malaysia) Berhad in 1966, and over the years we’ve built a reputation as Malaysia's leading conglomerate in the building of infrastructure. As the preferred nation-building partner, the Group is a wholly owned subsidiary of Khazanah Nasional Berhad, one of the Government’s investment arms.

Our core businesses include expressways, engineering & construction, healthcare, environmental services, property, information and communication technology (ICT), manufacturing and logistics.

Today, we have more than 40 major operating companies, including 8 public listed companies with the Group's shareholders' funds standing in excess of RM7.6 billion. The Group’s net assets as at 31 December 2008 stand at approximately RM7.6 billion, while total asset as at 31 December 2008 stands at RM28.8 billion.
