CYBERJAYA, 23 May 2013 – UEM Land Holdings Berhad (“UEM Land” or “the Company”), Malaysia’s largest property development company by market capitalisation1, launched its newest development, known as Verdi eco-dominiums – an eco-friendly high rise condominium in the heart of Malaysia’s ICT capital, Cyberjaya, located just south of Kuala Lumpur. The launch, which was held during the weekend of 18 & 19 May also marked the launch of the development’s one-bedroom show unit, now ready for viewing.
Verdi eco-dominiums is part of the 98-acre mixed strata development of Symphony Hills, an exclusive residential development and the country’s first Connected Intelligent Community (“CIC”) offering smart-home features and community connectivity through high-speed broadband. It is a development situated on 9.16 acres of freehold land that boasts an eco- friendly concept within a gated and guarded smart community conceived with convenience, comfort and security in mind. Each unit of Verdi eco-dominiums comes equipped with the smart home features such as Unified Home Network, interactive Community Services Portal, Info Kiosk / IP Telephony / Intercom, web access home control, automated lighting control, all-in-one remote controller, scenario control, temperature control and a panic button.

Verdi eco-dominiums will be managed by UEM Land’s wholly-owned subsidiary Sunrise Berhad (“Sunrise”), replicating signature developments such as the newly completed 28 Mont’Kiara and 10 Mont’Kiara which Sunrise has developed for the iconic Mont’Kiara enclave. Sunrise intends to bring Mont’Kiara’s condo-living experiences to Cyberjaya, particularly for Verdi eco- dominiums by offering good quality finishings, innovative architectural design with a host of amenities and leisure facilities.
Priced from an attractive RM451,800.00, Verdi eco-dominium comprises two residential towers with Tower 1 consisting 44 storeys and Tower 2 consisting 45 storeys. A total of 400 units ranging from 700 sq ft to 1,442 sq ft were launched with an average of 10 units per floor. Out of the 800 units, 40% is allocated for 3+1-bedroom (320 units), another 40% is for 1-bedroom (320 units) and the remaining 20% is for 2-bedroom (160 units).
The weekend launch saw an estimated total of RM18.48 million worth of sales contributing to the total accumulative sales of RM72 .5 million to date, from the 400 units released.
Verdi eco-dominiums is conceptualised based on contemporary living in a park, by harmoniously blending the elements of modernity and the natural environment in creating comfort and tranquility within the development to be enjoyed by its residents.

During the weekend launch, several ‘Family Carnival’ themed activities were held to attract families and children such as zorb ball and bumper boats in the clubhouse pond, moonwalker (similar to go-cart) at the front of clubhouse, sand art and a clown to entertain visitors. In addition, lucky draws were drawn with 6 iPad minis won by existing Symphony Hills and Verdi purchasers.
