Code of Conduct. Our customers, business partners, communities, regulators and stakeholders expect us to be a reliable and trustworthy partner. UEM Group’s Code of Conduct requires all our employees to observe high standards of business and personal ethics in carrying out their duties and responsibilities. The Code of Conduct outlines the standards of behaviour expected of our employees which includes ethical behaviour, comply with all applicable laws and regulations, responsibility and obligation to report any potential violations and cooperate in any investigation that may follow.
UEM Group’s Code of Conduct also explicitly prohibits our employees or any members of their immediate families to give and/or accept of any form of gifts or favours from contractors, suppliers, clients, customers, or any other party having business dealings with the Company.

Code of Conduct for Business Partners. At UEM Group, being a good corporate citizen has always been an integral part of the way we do business. We are committed to operate our business in an ethical, legally and socially responsible manner. We expect our suppliers, contractors, consultants, suppliers, agents and/or other business partners to embrace our commitment to integrity and the same high ethical standards as set out in UEM Group’s Code of Conduct for Business Partners.

Organisational Anti-Corruption Plan (OACP). UEM Group’s OACP, which is under initiative 6.2.1 of the National Anti-Corruption Plan (NACP) 2019-2023, is developed to provide a high-level plan that aims to ensure the organisation has clear framework and goals, identifies priority areas, and sets strategies and initiatives. The strategies and initiatives within the OACP are formulated based on the direction provided in the Guidelines on Adequate Procedures, pursuant to Section 17A of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Act 2009 (MACC Act), and to be adopted and implemented by the internal stakeholders of UEM Group.
