NUSAJAYA, 18 January 2011 - UEM Land Holdings Berhad, the master developer of Nusajaya successfully organised the 2011 kick-off meeting for its 17 PINTAR schools at Nusajaya Centre, today.
More than twenty principals, headmasters/headmistresses and teachers from UEM Land’s PINTAR schools attended the meeting chaired by Deputy Education Officer, Tuan Haji Kamaruddin Sa’ayun from Johor Bahru District Education Department (PPDJB).
This kick-off meeting was organised to brief the school heads on the programmes for 2011. Additionally, the meeting was also aimed at gathering feedback on the planned programmes and ultimately to gain support and cooperation from the schools as well as PPDJB.
The programmes developed by UEM Land are designed based on PINTAR’s key principles - Promoting Intelligence programmes include the Academic Excellence Programme, English Programme, Newspaper in Education; Nurturing Talent with programmes such as Microchip Controller Project, ICT Carnival and Advocating Responsibility with programmes such as Green Programme, Road and Safety Programme as well as Hygiene Talk, received warm and positive response from the schools who expressed their unwavering support as well as heartfelt appreciation for UEM Land’s commitment to help raise the performance of schools.
