Cement Industries of Malaysia Berhad (CIMA)

CIMA is the second largest cement producer in Malaysia and has the capacity to produce 7.2 million metric tonne of cement per annum.

Since its inception in 1972, CIMA’s cement and concrete products as well as technical expertise have been used in the construction of notable infrastructure projects in the country, including the Sultan Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah in Pulau Pinang, LRT and MRT projects in Klang Valley, North-South Expressway, and the latest being the Merdeka 118 Tower in Kuala Lumpur.

Sultan Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah Bridge

The Sultan Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah Bridge, also known as the Penang Second Bridge, represents a remarkable achievement in infrastructure, driven by CIMA's contributions. Officially opened on 1 March 2014, the bridge spans a total length of 24 km, with 16.9 km over water. It serves as a key catalyst for the Northern Corridor Economic Region of Malaysia, providing lasting resilience through its high-performance design and construction.
