Our story started in 1966 - from our humble beginnings as a construction company, UEM Group has grown to become one of Malaysia's leading engineering-based infrastructure and services group and today, we have expanded our operations into green industries.

We are an international entity operating in emerging and matured economies, focusing on five key businesses namely Expressways, Township & Property Development, Engineering & Construction, Asset & Facility Management, and Green Industries.

We have the ability, expertise and resources to deliver and manage key infrastructure development projects for the public and private sectors spanning expressways, bridges, buildings, urban transits, water infrastructure, airports, hospitals, townships & property development, asset & facility management as well as development of renewable and energy transition initiatives in Malaysia.

As the flagship infrastructure arm and wholly-owned subsidiary of Khazanah Nasional Berhad, the sovereign wealth fund of Malaysia, UEM Group leads Khazanah’s domestic investment agenda in the infrastructure space and spearhead growth and expansion in areas such as renewable energy.

We drive Khazanah’s intention by facilitating, catalysing and accelerating the decarbonisation of cities and industrial parks as well as continuing to prioritise value creation initiatives amongst our other core businesses.
